You should now be familiar with imperialist Japan! For your assessment, you will use what you know to create an illustrated timeline. This timeline will highlight five major events of Imperial Japan.

Assessment Directions:

Choose five events related to Imperial Japan. The events must occur between the years of 1868 and 1945.
Write a summary paragraph for each of the five chosen events. Each paragraph should answer these questions:
What happened?
Where did it happen?
When did it happen?
Why did it happen?
Select an image to represent each event. Include the images on your timeline.
Organize your illustrated timeline. You can do this in many ways. You could make it in a slideshow, a word processing document, or an online tool. Make sure it looks nice, is easy to read, and is checked for spelling and grammar!
