Jake did not like shopping for new shoes. He was perfectly happy with his old shoes, even if they did have a couple of holes. Besides, new
shoes hardly ever fit that well.
At the store, Jake's father found several pairs of shoes for him to try on. Jake walked and stomped around the store with each one, but
