I chose to research the American Diabetes Association, the American Heart Association. The American Diabetes and American Heart Association's offer a plethora of information of both diabetes and heart disease.

I found that on the American Diabetes Association offers information on the warning signs of diabetes, pre-diabetes, the different types of the disease. It has a vast amount of information on health and wellness from fitness to weight management. I also found a large amount of very helpful advice on food and nutrition. Tools and resources can also be found on the site as well. Another great piece of information I read is that the site offers the opportunity to become an advocate. Which I think is a great way to help with a good cause.

On the American Heart Association site is offers a wide range of very helpful information as well. There’s a lot of helpful sections that help live a healthy lifestyle from cooking skills, recipes, losing weight, sleeping, and stress management. It also has volunteer opportunities and the option to become CPR certified.

With all the provided information on the American Diabetes and the American Heart Association's website can offer these as a very helpful tool for providers patients to live a healthier lifestyle and to do some research on their own time and to even become advocates or utilize some of the volunteer opportunities in their communities.
