Calculating Seed Germination Percentage:
1. Place germination paper in the bottom of a petri dish that will serve as a germination tray.
2. Determine the seed variety, the expected germination percentage, and the last year the provided seed was tested.
3. Count the lettuce seeds of the variety provided.
4. Mist with water (Be generous; there should be enough water so a puddle forms when you tilt the tray.)
5. Add the seeds, spacing them as much as possible.
6. Cover with lid.
