Put 0 in for y to get the x-intercepts

3x + 2y = 7
Put 0 in for y
3x + 2(0) = 7
Simplify
3x = 7
Divide both sides by 3
x = 2.333...
The x-intercept is at the point (2.333, 0)

Simplify

Divide both sides by 2
