Michael has $1.95 totally in his collection, consisting of quarters and nickels.
The number of nickels is three more than the number of quarters.
How many nickels and how many quarters does Michael have? I only have 10 minutes and this is an emergency .

6(.25)= 1.50

9*.05= .45

1.50+.45= 1.95

The answer is 6 quarters and 9 nickles. And this works, because 6+3=9.
