In my opinion, I would rather read a book instead of viewing a movie based on a book. Is the movie healthier than the book? One reason why is when you are reading a book, it will have many parts in the book that you might like. In a movie, it will leave out many good parts that the book had because a movie only takes about one hour to three hours. That is an additional reason why I like books greater than movies is because it takes an extended time to read them, and you can get more information than a movie.
One movie I viewed that was based on a book was titled the boy in the striped pajamas. In the movie, it left out numerous parts that were in the book. Instead, the movie added parts that were not even in the book. The first time I saw the movie I recognized that the movie was not anything similar to the book.
Also, the book conveyed articles to the reader that a movie did not such as the background material, the setting, and what the characters are thinking about. The book finale of the boy in the striped pajamas you knew the two boys passed away in the gas chamber. The movie however, you had to find out what occurred to them because it did not say it like the book. The book also gave you details about how they were feeling when they had to get in the gas chamber. The book gave you information about the boy’s family after he died and the movie did not.
While you are reading you are creating your individual movie in your own impression, and you will resolve many of the significant parts like how the characters speak, what they will look like, and what their surrounding will look like. The author makes the book in his individual way and the movie can not be improved than the book because the author made the book and you can’t make it better if you are not the author. In conclusion, I think you ought to rather read the book than view the film.
