We can subdivide the figure in 3 rectangles A, B, and C, then we can find the area of each rectangle and add all the areas together to find the total area of the picture.
[tex]A_{A}=(20)(13)=260[/tex]
[tex]A_{B}=(16)(5)=80[/tex]
[tex]A_{C}=(3)(13)=39[/tex]

[tex]A_{total}=260+80+39=379[/tex]

We can conclude that the area of the figure is 379 square units.

for Area b;
sides must be 5 and (20-4)=16
So;
Ab = 16*5 = 80 sqm

for Area c;
sides must be 13 and 3
So; 
Ac = 3 * 13 = 39

Total area of the figure is Aa + Ab + Ac = 260 + 80 +39 = 379 sq.m
