So to overcome this issue what was done was that post-attack on Pearl Harbor, Manufacturing and delivery of Cars was stopped and a war production Board was established by President Roosevelt in order to manage materials and fuels related to war and automotive council for war production was formed by members of auto Industry and in almost couple of days, They were manufacturing parts of Airplanes and Tanks.
