Reason to go west:
The day and age is here,
Where many people fear,
Over-population and crowds,
Less jobs and less work,
a day gone by, with nothing done,
a new life, is what one needs
a new life, is what one wants.
Come to the west, a land that is new,
a place to restart, a fresh start to life,
a place to meet, a place to share,
a new life, a new beginning,
a time to revive, a time to renew,
a new life, is what one wants.
Follow the trails, the ancient ones gave,
follow the songs, that travelers sang,
follow the roads, the travelers trod,
that worn-out path, that well-troden road,
the maps they gave, the trips they took,
the songs they sing, the advice they left,
the words that travel all through state,
the words imprinted in the heart of life.
Bring the ones who love silver,
the ones who love gold,
the ones who love nature,
the ones who love adventure,
the ones who love life,
the ones who love a new beginning,
so that the words would be imprinted in the heart of their lives.
Bring supplies, bring life,
bring the things that one like,
bring the kettle, bring the pot,
bring the horses, bring the cattle,
bring the animals, bring the food,
bring the one one loves, bring the people that you care,
bring those who will come with you, bring the things that matter to you.
What one meets, whether good or bad, is just the part of the journey one takes.
Whether they help you, or hinder you, remember them,
Whether they are danger, bad or good,
talk to them, engage with them, and remember them.
Whether one meets the Indians, or other troubles, i do not know,
Whether one meets diseases & pestilences, only time can tell,
Whether one drowns, or starves, only heaven knows,
Whether one meet troubles, only God knows.
Whether you choose to, or whether you stay,
Each and every action, affects your days,
So take your chance, while you can,
and settle the land far west, while doing your best,
and whether the day comes, where I'll meet you again,
Only God knows.
A new life, a land that is new,
A start out west, is only the beginning,
So go west, while one can, & go and live your life to the fullest.
