The genetic distinctions and similarities between the sulfur and high sulfur tolerance are predicted with the help of microarrays. A microarray refers to a tool used to determine the articulation of thousands of genes simultaneously.
The information collected via microarrays can be utilized as a gene expression profiles that show simultaneous modifications in the articulation of various genes in reaction to a specific treatment or condition. Thus, further the scientists should do the following tasks:
1. Group genes in which both the experimental conditions generate the similar kind of reaction.
2. Determine shared 5 prime regulatory elements in the group of genes and produce reporters using the elements.
3. Group genes, which enhance one experimental condition and reduce in the other condition.
