Germany biggest desire is to have fair, reasonable surrender conditions

To be given new territory in France- This is not true.
As World War I came to an end,Germany knew that she was defeated and did not have the power to ask for land as a defeated nation.
Although to gain land from France would be desirable, under the condition of surrender what she was worried about in first place would be how she would be treated and punished. As national safety came first for Germany,this is not true.
To receive compensation for war destruction- This is incorrect as well.
As mentioned,it could be one of the desirable things for Germany, however she was not in the place to ask for compensation.
Compensations is for nations who were invaded given by aggressor as to compensate for the act of causing destruction to other countries. Germany, who was one of the aggressor,was in place to give compensations,not recieving, so the statement is incorrect as well.
To have fair, reasonable surrender conditions- this is correct.
As a defeated nation, Geemany have little to no negotiating power for WWI settlements. Her fate would be depended on the nations who were to discuss settlements for all nations including Germany.As we can see from the Paris Peace Settlement, Germany did not have power to decide her surrender condition.
Therefore, her biggest desire would be to have fair, reasonable surrender conditions.
