A hotel with 200 rooms has two types of rooms, and when it is completely booked, the hotel earns $18,250. Double rooms rent for $110 per night and single rooms rent for $85 per night. How many rooms have two beds?

A) S + D = 200

B) 85 S + 110 D = 18,250   we multiply A) by -85

A) -85 S -85 D = -17,000  then we add to B) and get

25 D = 1,150

Double Bed Rooms = 46

Single Bed Rooma = 154
