In the poem, My Pretty Rose by William Blake represents the harshness that can be brought in a relationship through jealousy.
Rhyme scheme refers to the pattern that is at the end of each line or verse in the poem. It is a rhyme that the poet creates at the end words of the poem. There are types of rhyming schemes used in a poetry, for instance, ballad, triplet, alternate rhyme and so forth.
Therefore, in the above lines from my pretty rose, rhyme scheme of the two stanzas is
B. abab, acac. The type of rhyming scheme used in the above stanzas is the alternate rhyme. By using alternate rhyming scheme Blake highlights his loyalty and comfort to the "Rose tree." The switching of rhyme from A to B and A to C, Blake depicts that though his interest was really in "Flower" but like his rhyme scheme he would return to his "Rose tree."
