Explanation
Non-government organizations are usually non-profit and sometimes international organizations independent of government. However, this does not mean that they are free from government oversight as the government still plays its important role of regulation. They may also receive funds from government. The government intervenes to ensure that policies agreed by the two parties are observed and properly implemented for the benefit of citizens. In addition to that, the government sometimes have their representatives officers to ensure regular updates on progress of these non-governmental organizations.
