What was this court case challenging?

What was the decision outcome

Respuesta :

They claimed that the separate but equal treatment of races only made Blacks look more inferior by giving them low quality facilities and materials as well as unequal treatment of African Americans.  It was an important decision because it decided that segregation in public schools was unconstitutional as it violated the Fourteenth Amendment’s Equal Protection Clause.  This help launch integration in schools.
