Someone please answer! Everyone has been answering wrong and i have had to start over

so the closing of the Bell price of that stock is 20.55, and it went up by 55cents, namely the starting price was 20.55 - 0.55 or 20 bucks flat.
if we take 20 to be the 100%, how much is 0.55 off of it in percentage?
[tex]\bf \begin{array}{ccll} amount&\%\\ \cline{1-2} 20&100\\ 0.55&x \end{array}\implies \cfrac{20}{0.55}=\cfrac{100}{x}\implies 20x=55 \\\\\\ x=\cfrac{55}{20}\implies \boxed{x=2.75}[/tex]
