CAPITALISM is a system that is criticized for causing an income gap between the social classes. In response to this problem, two more theories, SOCIALISM and COMMUNISM were also developed during the Industrial Revolution.
It is known that classical socialism exists for thousands of years, but modern socialism and communism were born during the Industrial Revolution, around late 18th and early 19th century, with the works of Marx especially pushed by the struggles from the factory workers.
