The correct answer is by all means the third one, the catholic monarchs Ferninand II of Aragón and Isabella I of Castilla

The catholic monarchs ordered the conversion of the Muslims and Jews to catholicism or their expulsion from Spain if refusing to do so, through the Edict of Granada.

The edict of Granada had the basic purpose of  preventing the catholic faith of being influenced by other religions, however, since many of the Conversos  turned to catholic faith against their will because of fear of being expulsed from spain, they were seen as "old Christians" or fake Catholics who practiced their religion in secret, this leading eventually to their expulsion even after having converted to catholicism.

The Monarchs funded the voyages of Columbus in October of  the same year.
