Mhm! Saying 6/3 is the same as dividing 6 by 3.
6 divided by 3 is 2! So 2 would be the simplified form of 6/3.
Or, you could figure out what goes into both 6 and 3. Three goes into both 6 and 3. So you divide those by three, and you should get 2/1, that's the same as 2.
Let's simplify something else, just so you get a better idea of what all this is about. This little section is not related to your question, but to help you figure out how to simplify! Let's say we had to simplify 4/8, for another instance. To simplify this, you need to figure out what both 4 and 8 are divisible by. They're both divisible by four. So, then you would divide the top and bottom half by four to simplify.
So the fully simplified form would come to 1/2.
