First find the slope of the original given line:

Slope = 5/3

Points (2,4)

** All perpendicular lines' slope are the negative reciprocal of original slope

- The negative reciprocal of 5/3 is -3/5, therefore -3/5 will be the slope of the       perpendicular line

Equations:

Point-slope form: y=4-3/5(x-2)

Slope-intercept: y=-3/5x+5.2

4= -3/5(2)+b

4= -1.2+b

4+1.2=b

5.2=b
