determine the intercepts of the line that correspond to the following table of values (3, 6), (6, 10), through ( 9, 14). Please help I need both and if you could explain how to do it I'd be really thankful.

Respuesta :

so you wanna do the slope intercept form...

m = y2-y1/x2-x1 then plug vaules

14 - 10 / 9 - 6 gives you...

4/3x...

so Y= 4/3x...

now we want the values of a point (3,6) 3 being your x, 6 being your Y. so plug it in...

Y= 4/3(3) + 6

4/3 x 3 is 4 the 3 cancels plus 6 is 10...

let's check our work a bit? do we have a value of Y that equals 10? Oh (6,10) 10 is a Y value and adds with our answer.
