Apply what you know about the brain to the following situation: what parts of the brain would you be using if you were riding your bicycle down a mountain while drinking water and it is raining?
You would be using your cerebellum to control the voluntary muscle movements needed to ride a bicycle and drink water. The visual cortex would be involved, because it would be difficult to complete all the tasks without being able to see. The anterior prefrontal cortex would also be active as riding a bicycle down a mountain while drinking water in the rain could be considered multitasking due to the different sources o stimuli each garnering for attention.
