Given that

Power rating (P) = 11 W,

Change in voltage (ΔV) = 8V ,

We know that, P = ΔV . I

I = P ÷ ( ΔV)

= 11 ÷ 8

I = 1.375 A

current used by camcorder is 1.375 A.
