In my opinion, that is a fifty fifty. Guns shouldn't just be hidden from a child just because it is dangerous. They could actually be helped by knowing that a gun is dangerous. If someone pointed a gun at them or they saw someone with one they wouldn't fear it. They wouldn't try to alert someone because it is not dangerous in their eyes. Still, toy guns don't really do too much except show you how it works and a chat would be more helpful but it does it's purpose. Maybe don't buy too much guns but buy one or two.
