It’s A because the equation is already a function. You know this because when graphed the inverse and the equation make parabolas (upward and downward)
In these kind of parabolas the x value has just one y value. Whereas one y value has two x values.
If the y value has two x values it’s alright and shows that the equation and it’s inverse are clearly functions.
