Kim and Jay leave at the same time to travel 25 miles to the beach. Kim drives 9 miles in 12 minutes. Jay drives 10 miles in 15 minutes. If they both continue at the same rate, who arrive at the beach first?
Kim will get there faster because if you think of it as decimals, 9/12=3/4=0.75 and then Jay’s are 10/15=2/3=0.67 (but It would be 0.667 realistically) Which means Kim will be there faster.
