Respuesta :

Malala’s action is now known as a struggle for freedom icon. She was only a teenager  when she was shot by the Taliban, a radical Islamist group. She had been  promoting  the education  and rights of the girls and women. For this reason she became an example of political activism-

Her fight for freedom could be compared to the equality fight that the Black  Americans have lived in the 1960’s  as we remember  the civil rights activist Malcom X, he definitely talked about a particular experience of African- Americans and he believed that black people should fight for their civil rights even  with violence.

Moreover we can think about the Declaration of Independence to find out another connection between the freedom research of Malala and the American Dream. Infact the Declaration of Indipendence said that everyone has right to liberty, to life and to obtain happiness. A person like Martin Luther King during his speech “I have a Dream” showed the frustrations of  every nations ‘ability  to safe and protect the equality in opportunities for its people

Malala was a victim of discrimination in her home country, Pakistan, were girls were banned at public schools under the goverment of the talibans. She claimed for her right to receive and education, as her male counterparts. She fights against gender discrimination.

Her struggle for equality resembles the fight against discrimination undertaken by African Americans in the US during the 20th century, in the so-called civil rights movement. Black citizens claimed for equality of rights, the abolishment of segregation, equal access to voting and to schooling (as Malala does). Blacks were fighting for the same objectives as Malala does now, although the motive for their discrimination was race.
