Describe how the Virginia colony was transformed from a colony in which most unfree laborers were
white servants to one in which black slavery was firmly established.

Virginia's climate allowed many crops to grow on the lands of many white rich landowners. So, in order to increase the harvesting and planting they transported slaves from Africa in the trans Atlantic slave trade, resulting in the establishment of slavery.
