England set prices/taxes on products shipped to the colonies so high that the colonists could not afford them. The only way that they could solve this problem was to become an independent nation. In order to become one, they had to fight England for the land.
The American Revolution is a political upheaval. It took place sometime in 1765 and 1783. THIRTEEN American Colonies abnegated British Monarchs and Aristocrats. They had overthrown their ascendancy and after that they had founded the United States of America (USA).
