Hello! I need some help figuring out the following parts of trigonometry. Since this is a rather difficult math term to understand, I gave out 50 points. :D

Bubble in the correct answer choices that go with the correct sentences.

The ratio of the side opposite from an acute angle and the hypotenuse. Opposite/Hypotenuse

A) Trigonometric Ratio
B) Tangent
C) Sine
D) Degree
E) Cosine

The ratio of the side adjacent an acute angle and the hypotenuse. Adjacent/Hypotenuse

A) Trigonometric Ratio
B) Tangent
C) Sine
D) Degree
E) Cosine

The ratio of the side opposite from an acute angle and the side adjacent to an acute angle. Opposite/Adjacent

A) Trigonometric Ratio
B) Tangent
C) Sine
D) Degree
E) Cosine

Explain your answers clearly, please. Will pick Brainliest Answer!
Thank you!

Alright so these ratios have many different forms but the way I use to remember the trigonometric ratios is:
SOH
CAH
TOA

This means:
Sine --> Opposite/Hypotenuse
Cosine --> Adjacent/Hypotenuse
Tangent --> Oppositie/Adjacent

With that in mind, number 1:
Would be Sine, or C.

Number 2 would be, Cosine, or E.

And number 3 would be Tangent, or B.

Hope that was helpful.
Solutions

Trigonometry is the measuring of angles and sides of triangles. In a triangle, there are six elements: 3 sides and 3 angles. A triangle had an Adjacent which is an adjacent next to the angle θ. An Opposite is the opposite the angle θ and the longest side which is the Hypotenuse.

Sine Function: sin(θ) = Opposite / Hypotenuse

Cosine Function: cos(θ) = Adjacent / Hypotenuse

Tangent Function: tan(θ) = Opposite / Adjacent

Answers

Number 1 = (C)

Number 2 = (E)

 Number 3 = (B)
