The human population doubles appriximately every 50 years l. If there were 2.5 million people in 1950,how many people are forecasted to populate in the earth in 2100

in +50yrs i.e 2000 the population = 2* 2.5million = 5million

x = y = 2.5 million

x + 50 =(2^1)y

x+ 50(2) =2(^2)y

since 2100- 1950= 150 I.e 50*3

x + 50 (3) = (2^3)y

= 8 * 2.5million = 200million by 2100
