The Bill of Rights was added to the Constitution before it was ratified. Three of the more important Amendments are the 1st Amendment (Guaranteed Freedom of Speech, Religion, Assembly, Petition, and the Press), the 2nd Amendment (Right to create a militia and the right to own a gun), and the 4th Amendment (Right to be protected from unlawful searches and seizures, police need to get a search warrant to search your house). Pick one of these amendments, and tell me why you believe that amendment is important. Use at least two sentences.

Explanation:

Without the first no freedom worth talking about was worth having. You need to be assured that you can say publicly that you think Trump is insane if that is your feeling. (Freedom of speech does not give you the right to threaten him with bodily harm).

You need the freedom to worship God in any way that does no one else harm.

You need to be able to have a town hall to decide civic matters like whether or not you'd be willing to see your taxes go up for better education.

I don't think there is freedom of what the press reports any longer, but it used to be that the press was able to dig out the truth and make it public.
