I joined NJHS in 8th grade, it helped me understand how much volunteering helps people. I hosted a haunted house at my school and we raised money to help those impacted by hurricane michael. NJHS helped me realize my love of helping people which is a reason I joined this site.

Answer: I've volunteered at Metropolitan Ministries by giving food to the homeless and cleaning and prepping food and dishes. The impact that this has had on my professional development is eventually to receive the Bright Futures Scholarship.
