Granodiorite is an igneous rock , similar to that of granite. It has medium to coarse grain structure. It is among the most abundant intrusive igneous rocks. Whereas Dacite is the felsic extrusive rock, generally bluish grey or pale grey color.Its majority content is Silica, mostly found in volcanic zones.As far as commonality is concerned Dacite is the volcanic equivalent of Granodiorite.
