- Using a public facility such as a bus station, theater or library regardless of one’s race: Civil Right
- Getting a fair chance at a job that isn’t traditionally filled by one’s gender: Civil Right.
Civil Rights are the ones that concern basic right to be treated equally than others in many situations such as employment, education, housing and access to public facilities. A Civil Right is hurt when a person is discriminated by gender, race, disability, religion etc.
Civil Liberties are basic rights and freedoms that are on the Bill of Rights such as free speech, privacy, the right to remain silent, fair court trial, to marry, to vote.
