s basically just confusing... Although you're saying not to think of the snakes actually dying from eating each other or how digestion works I can't help but think. If the first snake was eating the second snake and so on, I would think that (If they couldn't die) they would stay at the same size as they are eating each other at the same speed and as their tail gets eaten off they've eaten the snake in front of thems tail and so stay the same size. And if you say 'I could replace this with ropes eating each other' it just wouldn't work. :)
