Ancient Egypt made many inventions and contributions which helped the people to follow them, here are just 5.
Mathematics: Egyptians started learning math when they would build their pyramids. They only knew how to count in the factors of 10, but this was still a huge advancement for back then.
Writing: It is known that Egyptians wrote in hieroglyphics, which was very important and extraordinary for this time period. They usually used this for keeping track of people and keeping records and other data.
Medicine: These people were very spiritual, therefore many cures and medicines were out of the ordinary. They would do certain rituals, or even use body parts as some parts of medicine, along with animals.
Mummification: Mummification was a popularity in Ancient Egypt. They thought that if they preserved the body, the spirit would come back, so they usually would mummify important people in society. People following them also would do this to an extent, and it gave us awesome relicts to learn about today!
Makeup: Everyone would wear makeup in Ancient Egypt, even the men. It was a popularity and the more makeup you would wear, usually the higher up in society you would be. They would use minerals such as charcoal and other dark things, but not only was it stylish, it also protected their face from harsh weather conditions.
