i think that the answer is b) sewing threads, based on books i've read about thomas edison, and what was available at the time period.

  • The light bulb is commonly used in homes and car headlights. They're less efficient than other types of lightning.  
  • Copper materials are not used for making filaments as they have very low resistance and the bulb cannot glow.
