Great Britain decided to raise several taxes and fees, as well as creating new laws that took away the freedom of Americans. These laws include: Tea Law (gave the monopoly of the tea trade to an British trading company), Stamp Law (every product circulating in the colony should have a stamp sold by Britain), Sugar Law (the settlers only could buy sugar from the British Antilles).
