Respuesta :
extinct and dormant
Explanation:
- There are volcanoes who are extinguished. These are former volcanoes. We know that they used to fire, but they did not sound in historic times, so they are no longer expected to do anything. It must be remembered, however, that one can never be quite sure whether or not a volcano has been extinguished, because it can take several months, but several tens of thousands of years, between two eruptions.
- The fact that it is nowhere written that the volcano worked may just mean that it is on a long break, longer than our literacy period. In addition, this "historical time" is a very stretchable term about which there is no general agreement. However, take it that a volcano that has not worked for the last 10 thousand years has been extinguished. Otherwise the volcano is active.
- However, there are volcanoes that are inactive, but we should not be surprised if it works. These are dormant volcanoes. They doze off, sometimes a little smoke and that's all. But they can wake up. Such volcanoes are a nice motif for postcards, especially when they release a cloud, and are a great tourist attraction.
