To be considered valid, a decision of the Supreme Court must be accepted by a majority of the ministers. That is, half the court and one more.
The Supreme Court is the most important court in the hierarchy of justice and has nine judges for a lifetime and appointed by the president.
This court is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Constitution and interpreting it in order to maintain the institutional order of the United States.
As there are 9 judges, for a law to be valid, it must be approved by at least 5 judges of the supreme court.
