If 60 dogs went to the playground and 48 of them played in the pond, that would mean that 12 dogs did not play in the pond. This would mean that in order to find the percent that did not play in the pond, we need to divide the number of dogs that did not play in the pond by the total number of dogs at the park (12 divided by 60). After doing this, we find that 20% of dogs at the park that weekend did not play in the pond.
