Ego integrity versus despair begins at the age of 65 and ends at death. It is a time in which a person reflect on their lives and think about what they have accomplished , if a person feels like they have accomplished enough in life and have led a successful life , they will develop integrity.
However, if a person feels like they failed and there are things that they feel they should have accomplished but did not accomplish , they will experience despair.
