The basic idea of the story the proposal is there is a man named chubukov who lives with his daughter Natalya. She was a young girl who was waiting for someone to ask her hand in marriage and she was perfect with the house chores they had a neighbor name lomov who had gone to ask Natalya hand in marriage but this proposal turned a series of fights and arguments between Natalya and lomov later when the arguments were over and he had left due to his palpitations chubukov told Natalya he had come for asking her hand in marriage and Natalya begged her father to get him back but as soon as he returned again they started quarreling about the oxen meadows. It was a funny and interesting story
