LDCs often draw down their ecological capital faster than nature can replace it, causing them to exceed sustainable yield, the highest rate at which a renewable resource can be used without decreasing its potential for renewal.
A LCD is one that has low to moderate level of industrialization and modernization and most of them are located in the Africa, Asia and the Latin America and thus thy have a less industrialization and a lower production rate and compared to the MCD they have lesser use of the natural resources and have more of a sustainable use of the resources.
