Treaty of Colerain is a peace treaty and a treaty of friendship that was outlined between the US government and the Creek nations. The administration of Washington had already came into a friendly terms with the Creek people however, factually the people of Cherokee nation ended up in having an endless scuffle with the Government because, they were not given priority amidst the settlers.
Answer:
The Western Devolvement was a success. But it was quite a rocky process.
The relationship between the US governments and the Native Americans haven't always been the best at all times. The Native's history had a terrible start. From welcoming Europeans and nearly caused extinction to their tribes. At this, the government and the Native Americans had many treaties made in the process. During the Revolutionary War, most natives sided with the British during the war. They were afraid of losing their lands. But unfortunately on the Native's case, America won victory against the British. Because the British lost, the US government required the natives to hand out the lands that they had. Most treaties were about the US paying an amount of ransom to get the land. For example, the Treaty of Indian Springs in 1825 had the natives lost nearly all their lands. Obviously the natives wouldn't agree, They argued they hadn't made William McIntosh to sign the treaty. At this William McIntosh lost his life. In 1830, an Indian Removal Act was passed out by the Congress. This act was mainly made for the Cherokee. The act was supposed to be on the Indian's free will. Unfortunately not, the act later led to what's now known The Trails of Tears. It is known to have left devastating results.
As known, there were many treaties signed, leading to many different results -bad or good. There are some here that left different results.
The Treaty of Greenville is a treaty signed by George Washington on August 3, 1795. The treaty severed the purpose of ending the Indians from expanding their territory forwards to the west.
The Treaty of Colerain was a friendship treaty that was suppose to smoothed relationships of the US government and the Creek nations. Washington's administrator was alreadly on good terms with the Creeks. Only the Cherokee nation had non-stop small quarrels with the US government, cause they weren't given the direct power of the settlers.
The Treaty of Paris is a pretty famous treaty. John Adams isn't the direct host of the treaty, but he "served as a diplomat in Europe and helped negotiate the Treaty of Paris (1783), which officially ended the American Revolutionary War (1775-83)." (History.com) It had helped ending the war. Which effected the west developments because, the British losing the war means the natives could possibly lose most of the land. I wouldn't say it was a good outcome, but it depends on whose point of view you are referring to.
The Louisiana Purchase Treaty signed on April 30, 1803. Thomas "Jefferson appoints James Monroe minister to France and Spain, instructing him to purchase New Orleans and East and West Florida. Napoleon informs U.S. minister in Paris Robert Livingston that France will be willing to sell the entire Louisiana territory, much to his surprise."(UVA Miller Center) It was said that the Louisiana Purchase Treaty was the biggest and best accomplishments of Jefferson. Thomas Jefferson had may years of friendship with James Madison. With that, Thomas Jefferson appointed Madison to become the state secretary from 1801 - 1809. James Madison help buy the Louisiana Territory from the French in 1803. It helped the Western Development because it nearly doubled the size of then US. I would say it was a good outcome for only the US government because, I don't think the US government would want to share the land with the natives. They wanted to take land from the Natives, non the less wanting to share them land.
