1. Justification: the act by which a sinner is declared righteous
According to Christianity, justification is the act by which the penalty of our sins is removed and we are redeemed, and it is achieved by faith in God and JesusChrist alone, not through good deeds.
2. Judaizers: c. a sect of the Jewish Christians who sought to impose Jewish laws upon Gentile converts
These Jewish laws were also known as the Law of Moses (the first five books of the Hebrew Bible) which holds a series of customs and practices that pleased God like honoring one's parents, not bearing false witness against one's neighbor and more. Judaizer's role was to teach and impose those laws upon Gentiles, those none Jewish who did not know about the laws or repeatedly broke them.
3. sanctification: setting apart as holy
The term “sanctification” is derived from the Greek word hagiasmos (aJgiasmov) which means “holiness.” It means to set apart as holy, to make holy, to purify or consecrate. Christians, for example, believe that the man himself can not sanctify himself, but it is God who can do it, by the Spirit and in the name of Jesus Christ.
