In human ear, every part has a specific purpose and function. The function of outer part of the ear is to recieve the sound waves and send it to the inner part of the human ear.

Function of middle ear is to transfer sound energy in the form of waves into fluid, then the cochlea receives these waves and changes into nerve impulse.
