Tenement: A large residential block with multiple number of flats and apartments. Here, some basic sophisticated services like gym, swimming pool, roof top garden, association hall, club etc provided in a same place.

People lived in these contidions in order to beable to help provide for thier families. THey needed to make money in order t support thier family, and belived that a ciity live was much better. In the city, it was very far away from most things, maing it hard to get to work due to the lack of transprtation. Even in the horrible conditions, people needed to make a living in order to survive becuase if they loose thier job, they woul eventually go broke, and become homeless, and soon enough die from starvation.
